This Guy Shamed Women For Shopping In Pajamas and Sparked a HUGE Debate
I’m not ashamed to admit that I basically live in workout/yoga pants and a sweatshirt, which is to say that I don’t exactly get dressed up to go out and run errands. And while I don’t wear pajamas out in public, I also don’t get offended when I see people walking around in their PJs (although it is slightly entertaining).
One man, however, was so upset after seeing two women walking around a Tesco store in their pajamas that he had the cojones to snap a picture of them and post it to Facebook publicly shaming them.
In the now-deleted post, he wrote on Tesco’s Facebook page:
“Dear Tesco, please can you put a rule in place that people like this will not be served in your stores. It’s bloody disgusting. This was at 7pm last night at your Tesco Salford store and I have seen other people dressed similar on a regular basis. I mean who doesn’t have the time to get changed into clothes to go shopping.”
Thankfully someone took a screen shot, and it wasn’t long before the original post started attracting negative attention on the Tesco Facebook page.
Most people agreed that it wasn’t a big deal to see people shopping in their sleepwear, and that it was more offensive that some dude was snapping those pictures of women.
