but I’m obviously not writing for this blog anymore - like I said in my last post a few months back, I am now doing recaps for Derby News Network (which, by the way, looks amazing due to a recent makeover). I will continue to cover as much Colorado derby there as I can, but sometimes it gets a bit difficult to write on bouts I am either skating or volunteering in. There are quite a few up-and-coming leagues starting in CO though, so hopefully I will be a spectator in many bouts to come and will have some good recaps over there.
The other exciting news is that Assaultin’ Pepa and I are starting a roller derby magazine called fiveonfive, so go check it out NOW! We have an awesome list of contributors, the layout looks great and we are planning on having our first issue printed this fall. You will be able to subscribe or preorder the first issue in the very very very near future. fiveonfive will be the official magazine of the WFTDA - exciting stuff! So even though I have been more than neglectful on here, it is because I have some big exciting plans.
